Taylor Publishing, one of the largest scholastic publishing companies in America, and Balfour, one of the leading suppliers of scholastic items, asked NCompass Media to partner on their European business expansion. I developed their branding, marketing materials, trade show booth and a targeted launch campaign.
I created the marketing concept and all related visuals, including print materials and copywriting, and I coordinated the printing and production of all elements. I also built a branding standards document outlining the proper use of fonts, photos, visual elements and text for future marketing items.
When Taylor/Balfour launched in Europe, they needed a cost-effective, targeted campaign to increase brand recognition during the run-up to their first trade show exhibition. These launch postcards were the solution. The postcards were printed in individual batches of 1000 and mailed to prospective clients, in numeric order, once weekly for eight weeks. For example, the "Choice" postcard was mailed the first week, the "Fun" postcard was mailed the second, etc.
I created the concept for the campaign, designed and built the cards, provided some of the photos used, and wrote all the copy.
As part of the Taylor/Balfour European launch, I designed these booth display graphics. The image below contains both the left and right side graphics, which were each approximately 4.5' wide by 3' tall. The graphics were made to set on top of a standard folding table, behind sample books, print marketing materials and a portable DVD player showing video examples.
